Fiji Airways strengthens its Pacific network with the return of direct flights between Nadi and Nouméa from September 2026
FIJI Airways has announced the reinstatement of its direct service between Nadi, Fiji (NAN) and Nouméa, New Caledonia (NOU), effective 22 September 2026.
The new service will operate twice weekly every Tuesday and Friday, aboard its regional subsidiary Fiji Link’s ATR 72-600 aircraft, opening up more than 10,000 additional seats annually between Fiji and New Caledonia and strengthening Pacific connectivity for travellers on both sides.
Fiji Airways MD & CEO Paul Scurrah welcomed the announcement, saying, "New Caledonia is a stunning destination and an important market for Fiji Airways. Reinstating this service creates exciting new opportunities for travellers, whether visiting Fiji for our world-renowned hospitality or exploring the unique French Pacific culture of Nouméa. With more than 10,000 additional seats opening up annually, this is a significant boost for tourism, trade and people-to-people connections across our region. We look forward to welcoming passengers on board."
The reinstatement of this service also strengthens an important corridor for the Pacific's regional community. Nouméa and Suva are home to some of the Pacific's most significant intergovernmental and development organisations, with staff, delegates, consultants and partners travelling regularly between the two cities. Fiji Airways looks forward to supporting the connectivity needs of these organisations and the broader professional community that keeps the Pacific connected.
The Nadi–Nouméa route also connects seamlessly onto Fiji Airways' growing international network, providing travellers with onward connections across the Pacific, New Zealand, United States and Canada, making Fiji an even more compelling gateway to the world.
Tickets go on sale from today, 3 June at fijiairways.com and through authorised travel agents.
